I have been having a few extremely low moments lately. These low moments in one’s life sometimes rip away one’s confidence, add mental exhaustion, make you question a few fundamental values you have believed throughout.

Manoj, my husband, always in his lows, cheers himself up by saying, “life is like a sine wave, and soon I will be on my journey upward. It’s just a matter of time.” I am able to appreciate it & significantly relate to it only now.

However, all said & done, as much as I hate such moments in life, on hindsight I should thank these very moments, which have made me only better & revealed to me what all I am actually capable of. In my personal life, many of such heated arguments particularly with Manoj have always & always pushed me to discover a new me, a new strength, a new challenge to overcome or a new idea to work on.

  1. Gives way to reflect on actions, thoughts & emotions
  2. Builds resilience
  3. Inculcates the nature of forgiving
  4. Brings a different perspective — you either learn or unlearn or discover or pushes you out of your comfort zone & challenge yourself.
  5. Paves way for a fresh & new start.
